The final week of the season (apart from three rescheduled matches next week).
Monday's first game of the week saw Champions KP XV easily beat KP XIV 8-2. This match was particularly notable for Niam Kotecha beating Stan Dunne 3-1, Stan having not lost even a leg beforehand. Niam, fittingly wraps up the prize for best average in the division (being the only player in the likely top 3 to have played the minimum 2/3 games required). Also on Monday Desford beat a weakened Regents Sports team 9-1, Gordon Bacon POTM for the home side.
Tuesday's Winstanley derby resulted in a comprehensive 10-0 win for WW VI, John Hurst POTM.
At Fleckney Sports Hall on Wednesday, Fleckney III, leapfrogged their opponents in the league table with a fine 8-2 win, featuring maximums for Jan Green and POTM Nathan Ogdon. Meanwhile Fleckney IV went down narrowly to Syston Casuals 6-4 with another POTM award for the home team's Bob Palmer.
Finally on Thursday KP XIII drew with Leicester Dennis club with a fine POTM performance from Faizali Dharamshi.

The weeks opening match saw KP XIV missing their star player, Stan Dunne, in drawing 5-5 with WW VI, Neel Deshpande POTM for the away side. Also on Monday, Desford III had a fine 9-1 win over WW VII to move within two points of KP XIV in the top 4, Gordon Bacon securing POTM honours.
On Wednesday, in the Fleckney derby, honours ended even in 1 5-5 draw where everyone contributed something. Bob Palmer POTM for Fleckney IV.
Thursdays final set of matches began with another resounding win fro league leaders KP XV with Niam Kotecha pushing hard at the top of the averages with another POTM. KP XIII moved to within 8 points of the leaders with a game in hand, beating Nomads III, 7-3, Mike Smith picking up another POTM award. Finally Regents Sports II beat LT&SC 8-2 with Will Clark POTM
16 Feb
Mondays opening match saw LT&SC beat Fleckney IV 7-3 featuring a fine maximum from Faizali Damaramshi inflicting Bob Palmer's 2nd only defeat of the season.
On Tuesday, unfortunately WW VI fielded an unregistered player v KP XIII, so whilst drawing 5-5 on the night the net result was a 6-4 win for the away side. League leaders KP XV had a resounding 10-0 win away at Nomads with Niam Kotecha picking up yet another POTM award. KP XIV beat WW VII 9-1 with Stan Dunne maintaining his 100% record as POTM.
In Wednesdays final match at Fleckney Sports Centre, Desford 3 beat Fleckney III, 7-3 with some tightly fought matches and Gillian Wisdish emerging as POTM.
